Rooted in family. Driven by purpose.

From the cashew harvest, something extraordinary.

Fanifama transforms overlooked cashew apples into purposeful food products — beginning with premium cashew apple vinegar, crafted in Ghana.

The opportunity

We see value where others see waste.

Cashew processing often focuses on the nut, leaving the fruit behind. Fanifama is building a new pathway for that overlooked resource — turning cashew apples into a premium food product while creating opportunities across the agricultural value chain.

“From Ghana's fields. For the world's tables.”

We start with one product and a bigger ambition: prove that overlooked African agricultural resources can become valuable global brands.

More than vinegar

A product with a purpose.

Fanifama combines everyday usefulness with a story customers can feel good about supporting.

Versatile in the kitchen

Use it in salad dressings, sauces, marinades, cooking and as part of food-preservation practices.

Naturally fermented

Made by fermenting cashew apple juice, giving an overlooked fruit a new role in the food system.

Circular by design

We recover value from a seasonal agricultural resource that is often left unused after cashew harvesting.

Made in Ghana

A Ghanaian product built around local agricultural resources, local processing and a globally relevant food category.

Farmer impact

More value from the harvest. More opportunity for farmers.

Our farmer impact starts with a simple question: what if cashew farmers could benefit from more than the nut?

Fanifama is working toward responsible sourcing relationships with cashew cooperatives so that the overlooked fruit can become an additional value stream around the existing cashew economy.

Where we are now: conversations with cashew cooperatives have been initiated, with supply-chain relationships being formalized ahead of the 2027 harvest season.
